Founded in 1997 by Laurent and Lisette Schwarz, Place des Arts gallery specializes in modern and contemporary prints. It presents artists such as Zao Wou-ki, Pierre Alechinsky or Gérard Fromanger and offers a choice of more than 20,000 works on paper by 20th century artists: original prints, illustrated books, collectible posters and original works.

Collector and expert for more than 30 years, Laurent Schwarz is a member of the Chambre Syndicale de l'Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau (CSEDT).
